About the Mural

The Longhouse Mural is inspired by Pacific Northwest Native culture. Longhouses are made from large cedar trees and together make a village. Each totem pole represents the family's clan affiliations. Many families shared one longhouse, sleeping in bunkbeds and cooking over an inside fire pit.
