About the Mural

This mural depicts an enormous tree composed entirely of living creatures. Each animal, bird, fish, sea anemone, or person (to name a few) fit like puzzles pieces nestled within the body of the tree. The limbs are bursting with raccoons, frogs, and chameleons; the leaves are enlivened by the presence of birds, dragonflies and butterflies. The viewer searches for one creature after another in an “I Spy” fashion, delighted by the surprise of each new discovery.
